get_active_trips

Status: Verified | Module: trip

List the member’s active (non-completed) trips. Returns the lean per-trip summary (ids, addresses, scheduled times, status) by default. Defaults to 10 trips, max 20 (use limit to adjust).

For full details on a single trip, call get_trip_status with the trip_id from this list.

Per-field enrichment (NEW in v2.0)

Per-trip enrichment is opt-in — driver, vehicle, GPS, and ETA fields are OFF by default to keep the response small. Set them ONLY for dispatcher-style flows that need that data for every listed trip:

include_driver false Adds driver = {name, phone} per trip when assigned
include_vehicle false Adds vehicle = {make, model, license_plate} per trip when assigned
include_gps false Adds gps = {latitude, longitude} per trip in real time
include_eta false Adds eta (e.g. “12 minutes”) per trip

Each enrichment call costs an extra trip-service round-trip per trip — leave them off when reading a list of trips for the member to choose from.

limit int no Max trips to return (default 10, max 20). Values above 20 are clamped.
filter string no will_call (only will-call trips) or upcoming (future trips only). Omit for all active trips.
trip_id string no Filter by specific trip UUID
friendly_id string no Filter by human-readable trip ID (e.g. 04-15-2026-0001-A)
include_driver bool no Enrich each trip with driver info (default false)
include_vehicle bool no Enrich each trip with vehicle info (default false)
include_gps bool no Enrich each trip with real-time GPS (default false)
include_eta bool no Enrich each trip with ETA (default false)
